About Our Music Therapist

Originally from Colombia, Carolina Gomez is a professional musician and singer with over 10 years of experience as a music teacher and early childhood music educator. Carolina has dedicated her professional life to becoming a specialist in child development. She is currently pursuing her second degree in child psychology and is very passionate about working with children and helping parents navigate their children’s development and music journey. 
Graduated in 2010 as a musician from Fernando Sor School in her hometown, Carolina was a singer for the Colombian National Choir for 6 years, Music teacher for Gymboree Play and Music for over 10 years, voice and piano instructor for more than 10 years, Kindermusik instructor for 3 years and now She works as a Music Therapist for neurodiverse children in the Chicago greater area.
